Distill helps organizations rethink how customers experience their products and services. We study the processes, people, tools, and communications that form an experience, improving interactions and creating value for our clients.

Our work is cross-disciplinary, drawing on the expertise of designers, writers, researchers, technologists, and strategists. We define the experience an organization delivers and craft the touchpoints that lead customers and stakeholders through that experience. We make things work and feel better, online and in the real world.


Alexander McGregor Ryan

Prior to founding Distill, Alex worked on interaction design and brand experience projects for IDEO, Wired, VISA, and others. In 2010, he led a series of workshops on innovation and design thinking at CEDIM in Monterrey, Mexico. Fascinated by people and perceptions, Alex focuses on design research and brand strategy at Distill.

Eduardo Amadeo DeSouza

Amadeo has worked for clients such as IDEO, MTV, SFMOMA and Adidas. In 2009 he left the freelance world to found Distill.  Amadeo is our visual design lead, his work has been featured in I.D. magazine, Print magazine, the Type Directors Annual, and The Pasadena Museum of Contemporary Art.
